 I am a college graduate with an IT major in information security and network administration. I don't know exactly what I'll write in my journal but it will most likely include video games, music, movies, and punk shows that I have been to. I'm not a democrat or a republican, I have my own opinions on everything. I don't really care for religion, I think everyone should think for themselves, I consider myself an atheist. I work in an IT security operations center for a federal contractor and I've really been enjoying it. Monitoring client networks and answering calls, it's pretty much the career I've always wanted to have. I was born in Thailand but have lived most of my life in Northern Virginia. I've been to Thailand several times and would like to go back again some day. I'd also like to travel to other cities, states, and countries. Some places that I would be interested in visiting include Japan, Europe, Chicago, and maybe California. I'm sure there's more places I'd like to visit. I'll probably end up staying somewhere in the DC/VA/MD area when I get my own place sometime in 2008, I really enjoy the hardcore punk scene here. Punk has helped to shape me into who I am and to help me think for myself, doing what I believe in and not letting others control me. I mosty listen to punk, but also listen to a good amount of ska and underground hip hop. Not really into major label/mainstream artists other than a few. I prefer listening to independent artists and DIY stuff. Something about that raw/unpolished sound just sounds a lot better to me. I'm a big gamer and a regular member on cheapassgamer.com, I enjoy meeting up with CAGs in the DC/VA/MD area. I started gaming with the NES and owned a Sega Genesis/CD after that. Currently, I own quite a few systems. PC, NES, N64, PS1, PS2, Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast, Xbox, Xbox 360, DS Lite, PSP, GBA, Wii, and Gamecube. Plan on picking up a PS3 some day, not anytime soon as there aren't any games or system sellers that interest me enough to buy one at the current price.
